- George Lucas wanted to cast new, unknown actors in the first Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV-VI). But the production studio disagreed and demanded at least two well-known actors. In a casting marathon, 30-40 actors auditioned for the roles every day for two months. In the end, there were two groups shortlisted. Group 1 consisted of Will Selzer (Luke Skywalker), Christopher Walken (Han Solo), and Terri Nun (Leia). Group 2 included a certain Mark Hamill, a man named Harrison Ford, and actress Carrie Fisher. Quiz question: Which group won the award?
- In "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith," there's a scene where two bluish aliens are seen to the left of an entrance. Inside are George Lucas and his daughter. Furthermore, the young Jedi student who attacks the clone troopers in the Jedi Temple and is killed in the process is George Lucas's son.
- Yoda's exact species is unknown.
- Anakin Skywalker, aka Darth Vader, meets 6 of 9 criteria for borderline personality disorder. One more and you could actually diagnose it.
