Deadpool is a comic book character from the Marvel universe, known for breaking the fourth wall and his humor. Deadpool himself is a tragic figure. A former special forces operative, he gains accelerated healing powers after participating in an experiment following his cancer diagnosis. He then sets out to find the man who nearly destroyed his life. The character Deadpool primarily thrives on his special abilities and, above all, his unstable personality disorder. Nevertheless, this hero always makes readers and viewers laugh.

In February 2016, Deadpool was released as a comic book film in German cinemas. The film stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, J.T. Miller, and Ed Skrein. It was directed by Tim Miller.

- When Deadpool was created, his similarities to DC's Deathstroke were undeniable. As a joke, they called Deadpool "Wade Wilson" in real life. Deathstroke's name is Slade Wilson.
