Back to the Future

Back to the Future is the name of the science fiction film trilogy from 1985, 1989, and 1990. The trilogy depicts the time travels of teenager Marty McFly and his friend Dr. Emmett L. "Doc" Brown between the years 1885 and 2015. The first part was initially planned as a standalone film. The open ending, which later formed the transition to Part 2, was rather jocular. Only the commercial success led to the two sequels.

Dr. Emmett L. Brown built the time machine from a DeLorean DMC-12 because he found the sports car stylish and its stainless steel body made it ideal for this purpose. Furthermore, it easily achieves the required jump speed of approximately 88 miles per hour.
