- George Lucas wanted unknown, new faces for the first Star Wars trilogy (Episodes IV-VI). But the production studio disagreed and demanded at least two well-known actors. In a casting marathon, 30-40 actors auditioned for the roles every day for over two months. In the end, there were two groups for the short list. Group 1 consisted of Will Selzer (Luke Skywalker), Christopher Walken (Han Solo) and Terri Nunn (Leia). Group 2 included a certain Mark Hamill, a man named Harrison Ford, and the actress Carrie Fisher. Quiz question: Which group was chosen?
- In "Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith," there is a scene where two bluish aliens can be seen to the left of an entrance. These are George Lucas and his daughter. Also, the young Jedi Padawan who attacks the clone troopers in the Jedi Temple and is killed is George Lucas's son.
- The exact species of Yoda is unknown.
- Anakin Skywalker aka. Darth Vader meets 6 out of 9 criteria for borderline personality disorder. One more and it could actually be diagnosed.
